GESTIX / MULTI-STORE RETAIL
Another shop.
The same
business.
A customer at one counter. Stock at another location. Keep shop sales and stock connected within a shared company operation, with the context your team needs to decide the next step.
Multi-Store availability, licensing and the supported configuration for your operation must be confirmed with Gestix.

“Do we have it?”
Antwerp shop
“It’s listed here.”
Illustrated location model from the fictional Belgium demo. Connections do not represent automatic stock transfers.
01 / “WE DON’T HAVE IT HERE.”
The conversation
doesn’t have to stop there.
Look beyond the current shop’s balance. The POS stock lookup separates the current shop, other listed shops and other physical locations, helping staff explain where stock is recorded.
Two real stock enquiriesSelect an example to explore the locations.
EXAMPLE 01 / FRENCH PRESS
None in Brussels.
Four in Antwerp.
The current shop stays visible at zero. Antwerp appears with four units. The central warehouse is not listed for this article because it has no positive balance in this snapshot.
You can explain where it is. Arranging supply remains a separate step.
EXAMPLE 02 / DIGITAL SCALE
Two at another shop.
Eighteen at central.
The lookup distinguishes the other shop from the central warehouse. The displayed total is twenty: the sum of the rows shown, not a full inventory reconciliation.
A warehouse holds stock. It does not have to be a retail shop.
Historical v1 demo snapshots, 29 October 2026, Gestix 7.1.02.000 Release, fictional data. Other locations appear with positive stock; virtual locations are excluded. Lookup locates recorded quantities; it does not reserve, transfer or fulfil them.
02 / “WHICH SHOP IS MAKING THE SALE?”
One sale.
The right shop context.
A configured Store connects the POS operation to its sales warehouse and document series. The bound workstation identifies that Store; the operator’s profile governs permitted document operations.
Each workstation operates in the context of its shop.

Explanatory reading of the demo configuration. A workstation is not a payment terminal; a warehouse is not automatically a shop.
Let staff work within
their responsibilities.
Configured profiles and document permissions support access to permitted operations. Store and series restrictions should be assessed for the tasks each person needs to perform.

03 / START WITH YOUR OPERATION
Two shops?
More counters?
Let’s talk about your shops.
Tell us how many shops and counters you run, where stock is held and who needs access. Gestix must confirm the supported version, licence, limits and setup for your operation.
Talk about your shop network ↗Several tills in one shop?
Describe the number of tills, any handover between operators and cash-closing requirements. Multi-till suitability and availability require confirmation for the offered version and licence; these stock examples do not establish per-till closing or reconciliation.
Can lookup move goods between shops?
Lookup shows where quantities are recorded. Any transfer, reservation or arrangement to supply the customer is a separate operational step to assess.
Returns at another shop?
The evidenced return route uses the back office and the original sale with the appropriate return or credit document. Cross-shop and payment-terminal refunds require separate confirmation.
Shops in different countries or companies?
These examples cover shops in one shared company operation. Separate entities, databases, countries and fiscal requirements need their own suitability assessment.
Availability and commercial entitlement are not established by demo evidence. Original images reused unchanged from the Belgian demonstration; French product UI with EN/PT explanations.
